Under sized, disorganized, amd staff that don't know the difference between a wheel amd a wrench. Especially for auto parts, oils, ect, go to a real parts store.
This is not a very friendly place to shop. It's very hard to find someone because it is very under staffed. They also won't allow sunglasses to be worn inside infringing on several human rights. Just an all around bad experience. But like most Canadians we expect this from Canadian tire anyways.
Ended up having to ask where the item I was looking for would be, and the woman working there seemed almost angry that she had to stop what she was doing to show me. When I thanked her she just walked away. I have pretty low expectations of Canadian Tire customer service but this was ridiculous.
When is there to get work done on my truck. 120$ job they said. Got a call back two hours later to tell me I needed a whole new front end and it would cost 1500$. I go to get a second opinion to find out it was a $300 part that needed to be replaced not my whole front end. Completely tried conning me into spending all this money and on top of it they didn't even take anything apart to check to see if any of those internal parts needed to be replaced. They just assumed it was broken... Same thing happened to my parents when they went there they quoted thousands of dollars worth of work which was not true would not trust them to do any major work and if any work is done for it to be checked.
I would usually rate this canadian tire at a one star but over the last few months it seems to be changing for the better. And they took down their sign banning anyone with a hoodie or sunglasses from the store. So seems the discrimination has stopped as well. New management?
